23 अक्टूबर(सोमवार) को पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर और दिग्गज स्पिनर बिशन सिंह बेदी का देहांत हो गया. वह भारत की कई यादगार जीतों का हिस्सा रहे हैं. उन्होंने 1966 से 1979 तक भारत के लिए टेस्ट क्रिकेट खेला और प्रसिद्ध भारतीय स्पिन चौकड़ी का हिस्सा बने. उन्होंने कुल 67 टेस्ट खेले और 266 विकेट लिए थे. उनके निधन के बाद आईसीसी क्रिकेट विश्व कप 2023 का हिस्सा रहे विराट कोहली, केएल राहुल और सूर्यकुमार यादव जैसे भारतीय क्रिकेटरों ने शोक व्यक्त किया है.
