न्यूजीलैंड क्रिकेट ने ट्वीट कर बताया कि पांचवें दिन का खेल शुरू होने में देरी होगी क्योंकि फिलहाल बूंदाबादी के कारण मैदान पर कवर्स ढके हुए हैं. साउथैंप्टन में अभी हल्की बूंदाबादी हो रही है, ऐसे में यह माना जा रहा है कि 5वें दिन भी खेल पर मौसम का असर पड़ सकता हैं. चौथे दिन का खेल बिना कोई गेंद फेंके रद्द कर दिया गया था.
