Virginity Test on Female Detainee: दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट (Delhi High Court) ने माना है कि किसी महिला बंदी (Female Detainee) या आरोपी (Female Accused) का वर्जिनिटी टेस्ट (Virginity Test) करना असंवैधानिक है और यह संविधान के अनुच्छेद 21 व गरिमा का उल्लंघन है. दरअसल, सिस्टर अभया हत्याकांड की दोषी सिस्टर सेफी की याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में जज स्वर्ण कांता शर्मा ने किसी महिला बंदी या आरोपी के वर्जिनिटी टेस्ट यानी कौमार्य परीक्षण को असंवैधानिक बताया है. उन्होंने कहा कि केरल में 1992 में सिस्टर अभया की हत्या के लिए दोषी ठहराई गई सिस्टर सेफी का वर्जिनिटी टेस्ट करना असंवैधानिक था और यह संविधान के अनुच्छेद 21 का उल्लंघन है.
