अध्ययनों से पता चलता है कि टीकाकरण वाले व्यक्तियों की अस्पताल में भर्ती होने की संभावना 75-80 फीसदी कम होती है. नीति आयोग के सदस्य-स्वास्थ्य डॉ. वीके पॉल ने कहा कि ऐसे व्यक्तियों को ऑक्सीजन समर्थन की आवश्यकता होने की संभावना लगभग 8 प्रतिशत है और टीकाकरण वाले व्यक्तियों में आईसीयू में प्रवेश का जोखिम केवल 6 फीसदी है.
