South Africa Cheetahs in India: दक्षिण अफ्रीका भारत को आने वाले समय में दर्जनों अफ्रीकी चीते देगा. अफ्रीका ने इसके लिए भारत के साथ एक समझौता किया है. ये समझौता आठ से दस साल के लिए है. हर साल 12 चीते भारत भेजे जाएंगे. फिलहाल फरवरी में भारत को 12 चीते मिलने वाले हैं. करीब 70 साल पहले भारत से चीता गायब हो गए थे.
पिछले साल नामीबिया ने भारत को चीते दिए थे. सितंबर 2022 में नामीबिया से 5,000 मील (8,000 किमी) का सफर तय कर आठ चीते भारत में आए थे. इन्हें भारत के कूनो नेशनल पार्क में छोड़ा गया. सभी चीते छोटे से बड़े बाड़े में शिफ्ट किए जा चुके हैं. सभी 8 चीते जिनमें 3 नर और 5 मादा हैं.
