गृह मंत्रालय ने बुधवार को सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया के सीईओ अदार पूनावाला को अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर वाई कैटेगरी की सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के आदेश जारी किए हैं. न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई के मुताबिक, सीआरपीएफ उन्हें सुरक्षा प्रदान करेगी.
