25 जनवरी: कांग्रेस नेता (Congress) और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री आर. पी. एन. सिंह ने (RPN Singh) कांग्रेस पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. उन्होंने पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को अपना इस्तीफा सौंपा है. ट्वीटकर उन्होंने कहा कि आज, एक समय में, हम अपने महान गणराज्य के गठन का जश्न मना रहे हैं, वहीं दूसरी तरफ मैं अपनी राजनीतिक यात्रा में एक नया अध्याय शुरू कर रहा हूं. जय हिन्द"
