साल 2022 में होने वाले बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिका (बीएमसी) के चुनाव पर मुंबई मेयर किशोरी पेडनेकर ने कहा “उस समय कोरोना की स्थिति कम होती है तो चुनाव होगा और अगर कोरोना की स्थिति बढ़ती है तो ये चुनाव आगे जा सकता है. लेकिन तैयारी तो करनी पड़ेगी.”
मुंबई में 2022 में होने वाला बीएमसी चुनाव कोविड-19 महामारी की परिस्थिति पर निर्भर करेगा-
