Delhi: MCD चुनाव को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचा आम आदमी पार्टी, कहा- केंद्र सरकार के हस्तक्षेप के बिना सही वक्त पर हो Election
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आप ने कहा है कि चुनावों को तय वक्त पर कराया जाना चाहिए और चुनाव का शेड्यूल केंद्र से हुई बातचीत की वजह से टाला नहीं जाना चाहिए.
Delhi MCD Elections 2022: आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) ने केंद्र सरकार के हस्तक्षेप के बिना, दिल्ली में स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष और त्वरित तरीके से नगर निकाय चुनाव कराने के लिए राज्य चुनाव आयोग को निर्देश देने की मांग करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख किया.
AAP ने गुजारिश की है कि तय वक्त पर MCD चुनाव कराए जाएं. बता दें कि प्रदेश चुनाव आयोग ने बीते दिनों MCD elections की तारीखों का ऐलान टाल दिया था. इसके पीछे केंद्र सरकार के पत्र को वजह बताया गया था. इसमें कहा गया था कि केंद्र सरकार तीनों MCD को एक करना चाहती है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आप ने कहा है कि चुनावों को तय वक्त पर कराया जाना चाहिए और चुनाव का शेड्यूल केंद्र से हुई बातचीत की वजह से टाला नहीं जाना चाहिए. दिल्ली में केंद्र सरकार के हस्तक्षेप के बाद एमसीडी चुनाव कार्यक्रम टलने पर अरविंद केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा था कि "बीजेपी भाग गई. एमसीडी चुनाव टाल दिया. बीजेपी ने हार मान ली है. दिल्लीवाले गुस्से में हैं. वे कह रहे हैं कि इनकी हिम्मत कि चुनाव ना कराएं? अब इनकी जमानत जब्त कराएंगे."
The plea was filed after the Delhi State Election Commission indefinitely deferred the MCD elections citing a communication from the Lt. Governor conveying that the Centre was intending to pass legislation to merge the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi.
