COVID-19: चीन में कोरोना के मामले बढ़ने पर SII के CEO अदार पूनावाला ने जताई चिंता, लेकिन कहा- भारत को घबराने की जरूरत नहीं

चीन में कोरोना के मामले एक बार फिर से बढ़ने लगे हैं. चीन में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को लेकर सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया के CEO अदार पूनावाला (Adar Poonawalla) का बयान आया है. पूनावाला ने कहा कि चीन में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामले सामने आने की खबर चिंताजनक है. हालांकि, पूनावाला ने कहा, हमें अपने वैक्सीनेशन कवरेज और ट्रैक रिकॉर्ड को देखते हुए घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है. हमें भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित गाइडलाइन पर भरोसा करना और उनका पालन करना जारी रखना चाहिए.

बता दें कि चीन में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से नए कोविड पॉजिटिव मरीजों का सैंपल INSACOG (Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium) लैब में भेजने के लिए कहा है, ताकि वहां इस सैंपल का जिनोम सीक्वेंसिंग हो सके और अगर कोरोना का कोई नया वैरिएंट पनपता है तो उसे ट्रैक किया जा सके.
