Milind Deora resigns from Congress: 14 जनवरी को कांग्रेस नेता मिलिंद देवड़ा ने कांग्रेस की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से इस्तीफे की घोषणा की, उनके परिवार का पार्टी के साथ 55 साल का जुड़ाव खत्म हो गया है. एक्स पर पोस्ट करते हुए उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, “आज मेरी राजनीतिक यात्रा में एक महत्वपूर्ण अध्याय का समापन हुआ. मैंने कांग्रेस की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से अपना इस्तीफा दे दिया है, जिससे पार्टी के साथ मेरे परिवार का 55 साल पुराना रिश्ता खत्म हो गया है" कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता मुरली देवड़ा के बेटे देवड़ा ने 2004 और 2009 में मुंबई दक्षिण सीट से चुनाव जीते थे. वह 2014 और 2019 के बाद के चुनावों में शिवसेना (अविभाजित) नेता अरविंद सावंत के खिलाफ प्रथम उपविजेता रहे है.
