महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना का कहर थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है और जेलों में भी कोरोना ने सेंध लगा दी है. वर्तमान में राज्य भर की जेलों में कोविड-19 के 284 एक्टिव केस हैं, जिनमें 198 कैदी और 86 जेल कर्मचारी शामिल हैं. अब तक 15 की मौत हुई है, जिनमें 7 कैदी और 8 जेल कर्मचारी शामिल थे. हालांकि 1326 कैदियों और 3112 जेल कर्मचारियों का अब तक टीकाकरण कराया गया है.
