रामलीला मैदान में 'मुस्लिम महापंचायत' को दिल्ली HC ने नहीं दी मंजूरी, कहा- सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द हो सकता है खराब

दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने रामलीला मैदान (Ramlila Maidan) में मुस्लिम महापंचायत (Muslim Mahapanchayat) को इजाजत देने से इनकार कर दिया है और कहा है कि अगर अभी महापंचायत की इजाजत दी जाती है तो उससे सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द खराब हो सकता है. कोर्ट ने कहा कि मुस्लिम महापंचायत के पोस्टर का साम्प्रदायिक रंग है. हालांकि, हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि त्योहारी सीजन के बाद याचिकाकर्ता दोबारा इजाजत के लिए ऑथोरिटी के पास जा सकते हैं.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने पहले मुस्लिम महापंचायत करने की इजाजत दे दी थी लेकिन बाद में उस इजाजत को रद्द कर दिया. इसके बाद दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल करके रामलीला मैदान में 29 अक्टूबर को मुस्लिम महापंचायत की इजाजत मांगी गई. हाईकोर्ट ने इसे मंजूरी देने से इनकार कर दिया.
