Zomato पर लगा 8,362 रुपए का भुगतान करने का जुर्माना, जानें वजह

ऑनलाइन फूड डिलीवरी प्लेटफॉर्म जोमैटो (Zomato) के खिलाफ केरल की एक उपभोक्ता अदालत (Consumer Court) ने मंगलवार को मुआवजे के रूप में 8,362 रुपये का जुर्माना लगाते हुए एक छात्र को भुगतान करने का आदेश दिया. दरअसल लॉ का एक छात्र ऑनलाइन फूड डिलीवरी ऐप के जरिये 362 रुपये का खाना ऑर्डर किया था. जिस ऑर्डर को पहुंचाया नहीं गया और ना ही उसका आर्डर कैंसल किया गया. जिसके बाद छात्र उपभोक्ता अदालत में इसकी शिकायत की. शिकायत के बाद कोर्ट ने जोमैटो के खिलाफ छात्रा को 8,362 रुपए का भुगतान करने का आदेश दिया. ऑर्डर करने वाले छात्र का नाम अरुण जी कृष्णन बताया जा रहा है. उसने यह आर्डर तिरुवनंतपुरम में किया था.
