नई दिल्ली: इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय ने आधार (Aadhaar) पर मूडीज इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस की राय को खारिज कर दिया है और उसे "निराधार" करार दिया है. मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा, ''आधार दुनिया में सबसे भरोसेमंद डिजिटल आईडी है.'' “पिछले एक दशक में, एक अरब से अधिक भारतीयों ने 100 अरब से अधिक बार खुद को प्रमाणित करने के लिए आधार का उपयोग करके उस पर अपना भरोसा व्यक्त किया है. किसी पहचान प्रणाली में विश्वास के ऐसे अभूतपूर्व वोट को नजरअंदाज करने का मतलब यह है कि उपयोगकर्ता यह नहीं समझते हैं कि उनके हित में क्या है."

बता दें कि मूडीज इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस ने भारत के आधार सिस्टम की सुरक्षा और गोपनीयता की कमजोरियों पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा था कि भारत में आधार एक केंद्रीय पहचान प्रणाली है. आधार सिस्टम के तहत अक्सर सर्विसेज का पूरा लाभ नहीं मिलता है. कई बार सर्विसेज अस्वीकार हो जाती हैं.
