अफगानिस्तान से भागे राष्ट्रपति अशरफ गनी किस देश में पनाह लिए हुए हैं संशय बना हुआ था. लेकिन संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (UAE) के विदेश मामलों और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग मंत्रालय ने पुष्टि की है कि यूएई ने मानवीय आधार पर अफगानिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति अशरफ गनी और उनके परिवार का देश में स्वागत किया है. फिलहाल गनी अपने परिवार के साथ अबू धाबी में हैं.
