पाकिस्तानी इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथी उपदेशक मौलाना तारिक जमील के बेटे की पाकिस्तान के तलंबा में हत्या कर दी गई. कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि उसने आत्महत्या की है. वहीं कुछ का कहना है कि अज्ञात बंदूकधारियों ने उसकी हत्या की है. तारिक जमील ने 2020 में कोविड 19 महामारी के लिए महिलाओं की अनैतिकता को जिम्मेदार ठहराया था. वह तबलीगी जमात का सदस्य है.
