वर्ल्ड चैंपियन शटलर पीवी सिंधु ने ब्रॉन्ज मेडल मैच में चीन की हे बिंग जियाओ को 21-13, 21-15 से हरा दिया. इस जीत के साथ सिंधु ओलंपिक खेलों में दो मेडल जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय शटलर भी बन गईं. सिंधु ने रियो ओलंपिक-2016 में सिल्वर मेडल अपने नाम किया था.
