Paris Olympics 2024: 3 अगस्त(शनिवार) को पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने भारतीय हॉकी टीम के कप्तान हरमनप्रीत सिंह से बात की है. उन्होंने पेरिस ओलंपिक खेलों में ऑस्ट्रेलिया पर भारत की ऐतिहासिक जीत के बाद यह बात कही है. ग्रेट ब्रिटेन के खिलाफ क्वार्टर फाइनल मैच से पहले अपनी बातचीत के दौरान भगवंत मान ने हरमनप्रीत सिंह से कहा कि वह आकर टीम का हौसला बढ़ाना चाहते थे, लेकिन उन्हें राजनीतिक मंजूरी नहीं मिली है. मान ने सिंह से कहा, "मैं क्वार्टर फाइनल में जाने की योजना बना रहा था, लेकिन केंद्र सरकार ने कहा कि मैं नहीं जा सकता. मैं वहां (पेरिस) नहीं आ पाऊंगा, लेकिन मैं आपके साथ हूं." भारतीय पुरुष हॉकी टीम 4 अगस्त( रविवार) को चल रहे पेरिस ओलंपिक 2024 के क्वार्टर फाइनल में ग्रेट ब्रिटेन से भिड़ेगी.
