Nitu Ghanghas Wins Gold Medal: महिला मुक्केबाजी चैम्पियनशिप (Women Boxing Championship) में नीतू घंघास ने 48 किलोग्राम के फाइनल में स्वर्ण पदक जीत लिया है. फाइनल मुकाबले में उन्होंने मंगोलियाई मुक्केबाज लुत्सेखान को 5-0 से हराया.

इससे पहले सेमीफाइनल में नीतू ने बाल्किबोवा को हराया था. 22 वर्षीय नीतू ने चतुराई से सटीक मुक्के मारे और अपार धैर्य का प्रदर्शन करते हुए पहली बार प्रतियोगिता के फाइनल में जगह बनाई थी. पिछले साल विश्व चैंपियनशिप के क्वार्टरफाइनल में बाल्किबोवा से हारने वाली नीतू ने इस जीत के साथ अपना हिसाब भी चुकता कर लिया.
