विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के खास मौके पर उत्तराखंड वन विभाग ने अपने द्वारा संरक्षित विभिन्न पौधों की प्रजातियों पर एक रिपोर्ट जारी की है, जिसमें 73 दुर्लभ, संकटग्रस्त और लुप्तप्राय पौधों की प्रजातियों के साथ-साथ 54 पौधों की प्रजातियां शामिल हैं जो उत्तराखंड और भारतीय हिमालयी क्षेत्र के लिए स्थानिक हैं.
