पश्चिम बंगाल में बीजेपी का पिछले चुनाव से काफी अच्छा प्रदर्शन रहा. इस चुनाव में पार्टी को बहुमत तो नहीं मिल पाया लेकिन पार्टी करीब 80 से ज्यादा सीट जीतने में कायमाब हुई हैं. वही पार्टी के प्रदर्शन को लेकर पीएम मोदी ने लोगों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया है. प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने ट्विट में कहा, मैं पश्चिम बंगाल की अपनी बहनों और भाइयों को धन्यवाद देना चाहता हूं जिन्होंने हमारी पार्टी को आशीर्वाद दिया है.
