उत्तराखंड: पिछले 24 घंटों में 62 हेक्टेयर वन क्षेत्र में आग लगने से 4 व्यक्तियों और 7 जानवरों की मौत हो गई. प्रिंसिपल चीफ कंजर्वेटर (फायर) का कहना है, "राज्य के वन विभाग के 12,000 गार्ड और फायर वॉचर आग बुझाने के लिए तैनात हैं. आग ने अब तक 37 लाख रुपये की संपत्ति नष्ट कर दी है."
