उन्नाव उपद्रव: DGP द्वारा रिपोर्ट मांगे जाने के बाद इंस्पेक्टर, चौकी इंचार्ज और 2 कॉन्स्टेबल सस्पेंड
उन्नाव के एसपी आनंद कुलकर्णी ने बताया कि बुधवार को कोतवाली थाने में उपद्रव की घटना हुई, जिसमें अब तक 43 लोगों को गिरफ़्तार करके जेल भेजा गया है. जबकि अभियोग पंजीकृत करके कठोर कार्रवाई की जा रही है. वहीँ एक इंस्पेक्टर कोतवाली और संबंधित चौकी इंचार्ज को निलंबित किया गया है. दो कॉन्स्टेबल को भी निलंबित किया गया है.
उन्नाव में कल दो युवकों की सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत के बाद भीड़ ने जमकर उत्पात मचाया. इस दौरान मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस के कुछ जवान स्टूल और डलिया को सुरक्षा कवच की तरह इस्तेमाल करते हुए दिखाई दिए थे. जिसके बाद डीजीपी ने उन्नाव के एसपी आनंद कुलकर्णी से स्पष्टीकरण मांगा था. बताया जा रहा है कि पर्याप्त मात्रा में एंटी-रॉयट चीजे होने के बाद भी कुछ पुलिसकर्मियों ने उसका इस्तेमाल नहीं किया.
