देश में बढ़ते कोरोना के प्रकोप के बीच तमिलनाडु में कोविड-19 के 12,652 नए मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं, जबकि 7,526 मरीज इलाज के जरिए रिकवर भी हुए हैं और एक दिन में 59 मरीजों की मौत हुई है. राज्य में अब भी 89,428 मामले एक्टिव हैं और अब तक 13,317 मरीज संक्रमण की चपेट में आकर दम तोड़ चुके हैं.
