तमिलनाडु के विल्लुपुरम जिले के मेलपाथी गांव में कुछ उच्च जाति के लोगों ने दलित को धर्मराज द्रौपदी अम्मन मंदिर में प्रवेश से रोक दिया था. उच्च जाति के लोगों के इस फैसले से गांव में तनाव बढ़ गया था. तनाव बढ़ता देख प्रशासन ने मंदिर को सील करने का आदेश दिया है.

Dharmaraja Draupadi Amman Temple Sealed: तमिलनाडु के विल्लुपुरम जिले के मेलपाथी गांव में कुछ उच्च जाति के लोगों ने दलित को धर्मराज द्रौपदी अम्मन मंदिर में प्रवेश से रोक दिया था. उच्च जाति के लोगों के इस फैसले से गांव में तनाव बढ़ गया हैं. जिसके बाद से गांव में पुलिस तैनात कर दी गई है. वहीं प्रशासन ने मामले में और तनाव बढ़ते देख विलुप्पुरम जिला राजस्व आयुक्त रविचंद्रन ने मंदिर को सील करने का आदेश दिया है. मंदिर सील होने के बाद अब ना तो उच्च जाति और ना ही दलित समुदाय के लोग मंदिर में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकेंगे.
