Demonetisation Verdict: नोटबंदी के फैसले को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बताया सही, कहा- प्रक्रिया में कोई कमी नहीं थी
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र के नोटबंदी के फैसले को सही ठहराया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार के 2016 में 500 रुपये और 1000 रुपये के नोटों को बंद करने के फैसले को बरकरार रखा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मोदी सरकार की नोटबंदी को चुनौती देने वाली 58 याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करते हुए ये फैसला सुनाया.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र के नोटबंदी के फैसले को सही ठहराया है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार के 2016 में 500 रुपये और 1000 रुपये के नोटों को बंद करने के फैसले को बरकरार रखा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मोदी सरकार की नोटबंदी को चुनौती देने वाली 58 याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करते हुए ये फैसला सुनाया. जस्टिस अब्दुल नजीर की अध्यक्षता वाली 5 जजों की संवैधानिक बेंच ने कहा कि आर्थिक फैसलों को बदला नहीं जा सकता.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि नोटबंदी से पहले केंद्र और रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के बीच सलाह-मशविरा हुआ था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने माना है कि नोटबंदी का फैसला लेते समय अपनाई गई प्रक्रिया में कोई कमी नहीं थी.
