जम्म-कश्मीर के अनंतनाग जिले के कोकोरेनाग इलाके के ऊंचे इलाकों में आतंकवादियों के साथ मुठभेड़ में सेना के कर्नल मनप्रीत सिंह, बटालियन कमांडिंग मेजर आशीष धोनैक और जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस के DSP हुमायूं भट शहीद हो गए. गुरुवार को मुठभेड़ वाले इलाके को सुरक्षाबलों ने चारो तरफ से घेर लिया है. यहां ड्रोन से हर संदिग्ध गतिविधों पर नजर रखी जा रही है.
बुधवार को अनंतनाग में सर्च ऑपरेशन के दौरान आतंकियों ने सुरक्षाबलों पर गोली चला दी. सेना और पुलिस अब दोनों पाकिस्तानी आतंकवादियों के सफाए के लिए ऑपरेशन चला रही है, जो उनके मारे जाने तक जारी रहेगा. हालांकि कल के मुठभेड़ में दो आतंकी मारे गए हैं.
