कर्नाटक के डीजीपी प्रवीण सूद को सीबीआई में बड़ी जिम्मेदारी दी गई है. भारत सरकार ने सूद को सेंट्रल ब्यूरो ऑफ इन्वेस्टिगेशन (CBI) का डायरेक्टर नियुक्त किया है
Praveen Sood Appointed CBI New Director: कर्नाटक के डीजीपी प्रवीण सूद को सीबीआई में बड़ी जिम्मेदारी दी गई है. भारत सरकार ने सूद को सेंट्रल ब्यूरो ऑफ इन्वेस्टिगेशन (CBI) का डायरेक्टर नियुक्त किया है. हालांकि सूद का नाम सीबीआई डायरेक्टर की रेस में पहले से ही सबसे आगे चल रहा था. डीजीपी प्रवीण रिटायर हो रहे सुबोध कुमार जायसवाल की जगह लेंगे. सुबोध कुमार जायसवाल सीबीआई डायरेक्टर पद से 25 मई को रिटायर हो रहे हैं. उनकी जगह पर सूद को सीबीआई की कमान दो साल के लिए दी जा रही है. सूद 1986 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी है.
