चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी पंजाब के सीएम बन गए हैं. सोमवार को उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. पीएम मोदी ने चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी को बधाई दी. पीएम ने ट्वीट किया, 'श्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी जी को पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ लेने पर बधाई. पंजाब के लोगों के बेहतर भविष्य के लिए पंजाब सरकार के साथ काम करना जारी रखेंगे.'
