Britain Queen Elizabeth II Passed Away: महारानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय के निधन पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने शोक जताया है. उन्होंने ट्वीट कर कहा "महामहिम महारानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय को हमारे समय की एक दिग्गज के रूप में याद किया जाएगा... उन्होंने सार्वजनिक जीवन में गरिमा और शालीनता का परिचय दिया. उनके निधन से आहत हूं. इस दुख की घड़ी में मेरी संवेदनाएं उनके परिवार और ब्रिटेन के लोगों के साथ है."
पीएम मोदी ने कहा "2015 और 2018 में यूके की अपनी यात्राओं के दौरान मेरी महारानी एलिजाबेथ-2 के साथ यादगार मुलाकातें हुईं. मैं उनकी गर्मजोशी और दयालुता को नहीं भूलूंगा. एक बैठक के दौरान उन्होंने मुझे वह रूमाल दिखाया जो महात्मा गांधी ने उन्हें उनकी शादी में उपहार में दिया था. मैं इसको हमेशा रखूंगा."
ब्रिटेन की महारानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय (Queen Elizabeth II) का 96 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया. तबीयत बिगड़ने के बाद महारानी को बालमोरल (Balmoral) में चिकित्सकीय देखरेख में रखा गया था.
