शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में हिजाब पर प्रतिबंध के खिलाफ विभिन्न याचिकाओं को खारिज करने के कर्नाटक हाईकोट के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर की गई है.
कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट की विशेष पीठ ने कक्षाओं में हिजाब पहनने की अनुमति मांगने वाली याचिकाओं को खारिज कर दिया है, लेकिन विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू करने वाली कॉलेज की छह याचिकाकर्ता छात्राओं ने मंगलवार को दावा किया कि उनके लिए हिजाब शिक्षा जितना ही महत्वपूर्ण है. उन्होंने कहा कि वे किसी भी कीमत पर हिजाब नहीं छोड़ेंगी और अपनी कानूनी लड़ाई जारी रखेंगी. इस बीच कर्नाटक हाईकोट के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर की गई है.
