अपने बयानों के लिए अक्सर चर्चा में रहने वाले कांग्रेस नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी (Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury) ने एक बार फिर विवादित बयान दिया है. अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने कहा है कि लोग पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी को 'पगला मोदी' कहते हैं. 2000 के नोट के मुद्दे पर बोलते हुए, पश्चिम बंगाल कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष और सांसद अधीर रंजन ने कहा, 'वो मोदी नहीं पगला मोदी हैं. लोग उन्हें 'पगला मोदी' कहते थे."
बता दें कि इससे पहले भी अधीर रंजन चौधरी अपने बयानों की वजह से खूब विवादों में रहे हैं. उन्होंने पीएम मोदी को घुसपैठिया तक कह दिया था. इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को 'राष्ट्रपत्नी' कह दिया था जिस पर कांग्रेस पार्टी की खूब फजीहत हुई थी.
