नीति आयोग के सदस्य (स्वास्थ्य) डॉ वीके पॉल ने बताया कि कोरोना वायरस की दूसरी लहर के दौरान कोविड-19 रोधी वैक्सीन की एक खुराक मृत्यु दर को 82% तक कम करने में सक्षम थी. जबकि दो खुराक वैक्सीन मौतों को रोकने में 95% सफल रहीं.
भारत ने कोविड वैक्सीनेशन में 39.4 करोड़ डोज़ का आंकड़ा पार कर लिया है. अब तक 31.6 करोड़ पहली डोज़ और 7.92 करोड़ दूसरी डोज़ लगाई गई हैं.
