दमोह कलेक्टर ने स्कूल पर कार्रवाई की है और स्कूल यूनिफ़ॉर्म से हिजाब का बंधन हटा दिया गया है. अब अल्लामा इकबाल के 'लब पे आती है दुआ' सरीखे गीत भी नहीं गाए जाएंगे. अब छात्र प्रातः कालीन प्रार्थना में केवल राष्ट्रगान जन गण मन ही गाएंगे.
मध्य प्रदेश: दमोह में गंगा जमुना स्कूल पर आरोप था कि यहां हिन्दू छात्राओं को भी हिजाब पहनने पर मजबूर किया जा रहा है. यह बात सरकार तक पहुंची और गृहमंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा के साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहाने ने मामले की जांच के बाद कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया था.

2 दिन पहले दमोह के एक निजी स्कूल गंगा-जमुना की छात्राओं ने ये आरोप लगाया था कि उनके ड्रेस कोड में हिजाब जोड़ दिया गया है और उन्हें जबरदस्ती हिजाब पहनने के लिए मजबूर किया जा रहा है.
