प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रविवार को अपने 79 वें 'मन की बात' कार्यक्रम में कहा “26 जुलाई को ‘कारगिल विजय दिवस’ भी है. कारगिल का युद्ध भारतीय सेना के शौर्य और संयम का ऐसा प्रतीक है जिसे पूरी दुनिया ने देखा है. इस बार ये गौरवशाली दिवस भी ‘अमृत महोत्सव’ के बीच में मनाया जाएगा. इसलिए ये और भी खास हो जाता है.”
