कर्नाटक के दावणगेरे जेल में बंद एक रेप आरोपी 40 फीट ऊंची दीवार फांदकर फरार हो गया. दीवार फांदकर भागते समय कैद का वीडियो सीसीटीवी में कैद हो गई. वीडियो में देखा जा सकता है कि दीवार फांदकर वह धडाम से नीचे गिरता है. नीचे गिरने पर उसे चोटें भी आती है. लेकिन वह जख्मी होने के बाद भी लगडाते हुए सड़क पर जाता है और वहां से ऑटो रिक्शा पकड़कर भाग जाता है. वारदात 25 अगस्त की बताई जा रही है. फरार आरोपी का नाम वसंत बताया जा रहा है, जिसे बलात्कार के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. फिलहाल उसके फरार होने के बाद पुलिस सीसीटीवी की मदद से आरोपी की तलाश में जुट गई ही.
जानकारी के मुताबिक, 23 साल का वसंत बलात्कार के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. इसके बाद वसंत को अदालत में पेश किया गया, फिर उसे सब जेल में भेज दिया गया.
