सेना की उत्तरी कमान के कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल वाईके जोशी ने कहा कि सुरक्षा बलों द्वारा सक्रिय और सटीक अभियानों ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में आतंकवादी समूहों को गंभीर झटका दिया है. उन्होंने बताया कि जम्मू-कश्मीर की सुरक्षा स्थिति कुल मिलाकर शांतिपूर्ण है और सेना सामान्य स्थिति एवं शांति बनाए रखने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है.
