Heroin Seized: असम-नगालैंड सीमा पर 20 करोड़ की हेरोइन पकड़ी गई, एक तस्कर अरेस्ट

कार्बी आंगलोंग, असम: एक संयुक्त अभियान में पुलिस और सीआरपीएफ ने रविवार को असम-नागालैंड सीमा के साथ खटखती क्षेत्र में एक वाहन से 20 करोड़ रुपये की 5 किलोग्राम हेरोइन युक्त लगभग 390 साबुन बरामद किए. पुलिस ने एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है.

बोकाजन अनुमंडल पुलिस अधिकारी जॉन दास ने कहा कि गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए पुलिस ने खटखाटी इलाके में बैरिकेड लगा दिया था, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने रास्ते से गुजरने वाले हर वाहन की तलाशी लेना शुरू कर दिया था.

पुलिस की टीम ने दीमापुर से आ रहे एक वाहन को रोक लिया. उन्होंने कहा कि वाहन की तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस ने वाहन के एक गुप्त कक्ष से 390 साबुन की पेटी बरामद की, जिसमें पांच किलोग्राम से अधिक हेरोइन थी.
