डिफेंस रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट ऑर्गनाइजेशन यानी डीआरडीओ जमीन पर हमला करने वाले और जहाज पर हमला करने वाले वेरिएंट के साथ पनडुब्बी से लॉन्च की जाने वाली क्रूज मिसाइल विकसित कर रहा है. मिसाइल का परीक्षण इस साल फरवरी में 402 किलोमीटर की रेंज पर किया गया था और इसने परीक्षण में सभी मिशन उद्देश्यों को हासिल किया.
