भारतीय कप्तान रोहित शर्मा अंगूठे की चोट के कारण भारत बनाम बांग्लादेश दूसरे  टेस्ट से  भी बाहर हो गए है  क्योकि वह अभी तक चोट से नहीं उबर पाए हैं. रोहित की गैरमौजूदगी में केएल राहुल एक बार फिर भारतीय टीम की कमान संभालेंगे. भारत ने चटगांव के जहूर अहमद चौधरी स्टेडियम में 188 रन से जीत दर्ज कर बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ दो मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज में 1-0 की बढ़त बना ली है. दूसरा टेस्ट 22 दिसंबर से शेरे बांग्ला नेशनल स्टेडियम, ढाका में खेला जाएगा.
