आईपीएल की लोकप्रिय फ्रेंचाइजी रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर (आरसीबी) ने  फ्रेंचाइजी के दो दिग्गज क्रिकेटर क्रिस गेल और एबी डिविलियर्स के सम्मान में बड़ा फैसला किया है. इन दोनों खिलाड़ियों की जर्सी नंबर को हमेशा के लिए रिटायर करनी का फैसला किया है. अब कभी भी उनकी दो जर्सी नंबर का इस्तेमाल नहीं होगा. विराट कोहली की आईपीएल फ्रेंचाइजी ने एबीडी और गेल की जर्सी अपने पास रखने का फैसला कियाहै. आईपीएल आरसीबी की जर्सी में एबी डिविलियर्स ने 17 नंबर और गेल ने 333 नंबर की जर्सी पहनते थे. फिर कभी कोई खिलाड़ी उन दो नंबर की जर्सी पहनकर आरसीबी के लिए खेलते नजर नहीं आएगा.
