Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships 2025: पेरिस ओलंपिक्स(Paris Olympics) 2024 के बाद मीराबाई चानू( Mirabai Chanu) एक साल से अधिक समय तक चोट के कारण सक्रिय नहीं रह पाईं. पेरिस में वह पदक जीतने में असफल रहीं और इसके बाद कई चोटों से उबर रही थीं. 31 वर्षीय मीराबाई चानू ने 49 किग्रा से 48 किग्रा श्रेणी में कदम रखा और अपने कमबैक पर गोल्ड मेडल जीतकर अपनी ताकत का प्रदर्शन किया. उन्होंने कॉमनवेल्थ वेटलिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप 2025 में स्नैच में 84 किग्रा और क्लीन एंड जर्क में 109 किग्रा उठाकर कुल 193 किग्रा का भार उठाया और स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया.
