ऑस्ट्रेलिया के दक्षिणपूर्वी हिस्से में अचानक आई बाढ़ में सैकड़ों घर बह गया और अनगिनत लोगो का उसमे फसे होने खबर है. आपातकालीन सेवाओं ने चेतावनी दी है कि आने वाले दिनों में देश के दूसरे सबसे अधिक आबादी वाले राज्य विक्टोरिया के अधिकांश हिस्सों में भारी बाढ़ आने की संभावना है.

आश्चर्य की बात यह कि कुछ दिनों में T20 विश्व कप का आयोजन ऑस्ट्रेलिया में होने वाला है और भारत और पाकिस्तान जैसे चिरप्रतिद्वंदी एक दुसरे के खिलाफ उतरने वाले है. जिसका फैन्स बेसब्री से इन्तेजार कर रहा है और उम्मीद किया हुआ है कि एशिया कप के हार का बदला भारतीय टीम इस मुकाबले में ले सकेगा लेकिन इस बाढ़ ने मैच के सुचारू रूप से संचालित होने पर संकट की घंटी बजा दी है.
