Angelo Mathews Timed Out: एंजेलो मैथ्यूज ने सोमवार, 6 नवंबर को नई दिल्ली के अरुण जेटली स्टेडियम में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ विश्व कप 2023 मैच के दौरान अपने 'टाइम आउट' फैसले पर विवाद करने के लिए 'सबूत' के रूप में एक वीडियो साझा किया है. 'सबूत' से पहले ट्वीट में, उन्होंने दावा किया कि समस्या होने पर उनके हेलमेट को ठीक करने के लिए अभी भी 5 सेकंड बचे थे. मैथ्यूज ने लिखा, “यहां चौथा अंपायर गलत है. वीडियो साक्ष्य से पता चलता है कि हेलमेट ख़त्म होने के बाद भी मेरे पास 5 सेकंड और थे. क्या चौथा अंपायर कृपया इसे सुधार सकता है? मेरा मतलब है कि सुरक्षा सर्वोपरि है क्योंकि मैं हेलमेट के बिना गेंदबाज का सामना नहीं कर सकता था. नीचे आप ट्वीट देख सकतें हैं. मैच के बाद प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में मैथ्यूज ने बांग्लादेश और उनके कप्तान शाकिब अल हसन की आलोचना करते हुए उनके व्यवहार को अपमानजनक बताया. उन्होंने बताया कि उन्होंने तैयार होने के लिए दो मिनट के नियम का पालन किया था लेकिन उपकरण में खराबी आ गई.
