David Warner Retirement: 6 जनवरी(शनिवार) को सिडनी में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ अपनी अंतिम टेस्ट पारी के बाद ऑस्ट्रेलियाई सलामी बल्लेबाज डेविड वार्नर ने टेस्ट से सन्यास ले लिया है. जिसके बाद महान भारतीय बल्लेबाज सचिन तेंदुलकर ने उनकी सराहना की है. जिन्हें एक विस्फोटक सफेद गेंद बल्लेबाज माना जाता था, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने खेल को ऑस्ट्रेलिया के अब तक के सबसे महान टेस्ट बल्लेबाजों में से एक बनने के लिए खुद को फॉर्मेट में ढाला. पूर्व भारतीय सलामी बल्लेबाज वीरेंद्र सहवाग उन पहले खिलाड़ियों में से थे जिन्होंने टेस्ट क्रिकेट में डेविड वार्नर में क्षमता देखी. दोनों ने आईपीएल में दिल्ली डेयरडेविल्स के लिए एक साथ खेल चुके है, जहां सहवाग ने साहसपूर्वक वार्नर से कहा था कि वह एक सफल टेस्ट बल्लेबाज बन सकते हैं. जिसका उन्होंने ट्विटर पर खुलासा किया है.
