Women Reservation Bill: मोदी कैबिनेट का बड़ा फैसला, महिला आरक्षण बिल को मिली मंजूरी

Women Reservation Bill Cleared:  पीएम मोदी की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार शाम को केंद्रीय कैबिनेट की अहम बैठक (Cabinet Meeting) हुई. बैठक में केंद्र की मोदी सरकार एक एतिहासिक फैसला लेते हुए  महिला आरक्षण बिल को मंजूरी दी गई. इस बिल  में लोकसभा और राज्य विधानसभाओं में महिलाओं के लिए 33 फीसदी या एक तिहाई सीटें आरक्षित करने का प्रस्ताव है.  विधेयक में 33 फीसदी कोटा के भीतर एससी, एसटी और एंग्लो-इंडियन के लिए उप-आरक्षण का भी प्रस्ताव है. कहा जा रहा है कि महिला आरक्षण विधेयक को 19 सितंबर यानी मंगलवार को संसद में पेश किया जा सकता है.

मोदी कैबिनेट के इस फैसले के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने ट्वीट किया, उन्होंने लिखा, ''महिला आरक्षण की मांग पूरा करने का नैतिक साहस मोदी सरकार में ही था, जो कैबिनेट की मंजूरी से साबित हो गया. अभिनंदन प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी और मोदी सरकार का अभिनंदन.''
