तमिलनाडु, 9 जुलाई: श्रीलंकाई नौसेना ने पाक जलडमरूमध्य के पास तमिलनाडु के 15 मछुआरों को पकड़ लिया और 2 नौकाएं जब्त कर लीं. मछुआरे तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम के मूल निवासी हैं. इससे पहले 4 जनवरी को श्रीलंकाई नौसेना ने डेल्फ़्ट द्वीप के पास से 12 भारतीय मछुआरों को दो नावों के साथ पकड़ लिया था. मछुआरे तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम जिले के मूल निवासी थे.
