टीएमसी प्रमुख ममता बनर्जी ने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी, शरद पवार,उद्धव ठाकरे, एम.के. स्टालिन, तेजस्वी यादव,नवीन पटनायक, अरविंद केजरीवाल, को एक पत्र लिखा है, जिसमे उन्होंने कहा "मेरा मानना है कि लोकतंत्र और संविधान पर बीजेपी के हमलों के खिलाफ एकजुट होकर प्रभावी ढंग से संघर्ष करने का समय आ गया है." इसलिए अब हम सभी को एक साथ आने की जरूरत है.
