तमिलनाडु विधानसभा चुनाव में द्रविड़ मुनेत्र कड़गम(DMK) के पक्ष में रुझानों को देखते हुए चेन्नई में पार्टी मुख्यालय के बाहर DMK समर्थकों ने जश्न मनाया. इस दौरान सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का उल्लंघन हुआ. EC ने सभी 5 राज्यों के मुख्य सचिवों को ऐसे प्रत्येक मामले में FIR दर्ज करने, संबंधित SHO को निलंबित करने और इस तरह की प्रत्येक घटना के तुरंत बाद कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया है.
